ANNAPOLIS RIVER
FESTIVAL
July 16
Enjoy a day-long event at
Jubilee Park in nearby Bridgetown
celebrating the environmental,
historical, cultural, and recreational
values of the Annapolis River, in
support of the Clean Annapolis
River Project, a non-profit
organization whose mission is to
enhance the ecological health of the
Annapolis River and surrounding
watershed.
Highlights include day-long
Dragon Boat Races, guided tours of
the Annapolis River and a “Ribs on
the River” smoked rib competition
with an opportunity to sample each
competitor’s entry. A mix of canoe
races including sprints, a canoe
obstacle course, a portage+paddle
and a canoe kayak exhibit will also
be featured. Live demonstrations,
music, children's games, touch tank
and food vendors will round out the
